1) We come from a heart-centered belief of love. The Great Spirit works through a variety of practices that are central to the Native American tradition.
2) We are open to concepts of all people within the format of humanitarianism and the Native American Church.
3) We believe that earth, water, air, and fire are important elements. We honor these elements by incorporating both traditional and new ways. Through ceremonies we are upholding the belief that these elements are important to sustain the earth and its inhabitants.
4) We use natural items for art in our religious practices that fall under the Native American Church laws. These items are to be adjusted when seen fit, in accordance with laws and ordinances within New Haven American Indian Church.
5) We are open to new ideas, presented through discussions, under discretion of rules, as needed to preserve the function of the church.
6) Any ceremony be authentic and indigenous. We will not do anything that does not represent indigenous culture in a positive way.
Thus, by creating this sacred organization, we will be able to connect with and serve our members across the United States, to create harmonious connections with like-minded people of faith.
We believe that all people are created equally under the sanctuary of God (also known as The Great Spirit), free will, and prosperity to explore his or her spiritual ideas and needs.
The founding members of Timberwolves Native American Church are establishing this church to have a safe place to allow the equality of all humans in the eyes of God.
